The Filofax. Had one as a present years ago, wrote my name and address in it and laid it aside forever. Landfill must be full of them.

G2K did ‘Slim’ hire a Bow Belle coach to away games in the early/mid 1970s ??
I can recall going on them to games around 1977/78
Just as well they had roof hatches to open to let the smoke out.

Tits.... I Never see them anymore!

That's blue tits pecking the silver foil on the bottle to get at the cream. Then again we don't see milk bottles anymore!

I recall the old Bow Belle coaches being used in the early 70s.
I'm not sure if Slim did the hiring but it did seem to be a Cowshed (rather than official club) initiative.

I do remember the return from one game up in the Yorkshire area (it might have been Barnsley) when the players' "luxury" Greenslade jobbie cruised past our own jalopy on the M1. We all cheered and, to their credit, the players smiled and waved back. All was fine until the "lovely" chairman Fred Dart, sitting near the back, drew level. He just sneered and waved a languid two fingers at us. Suffice to say, for a long time after that Mr D was often subjected to serenades from the shed comparing him to a lady's secret bits!
