With todays signings and what MT has said about being a running team I think we will be playing 3-5-2 next season
Pym
Brown Martin (A) Moxey
Sweeney Boateng Taylor Law Martin (L)
Stockley Forte

Subs
Hamon Oates Woodman Tillson Holmes Jay Sparkes Abrahams

With Taylor playing a more defensive midfield role than we are used to seeing him play. I also think there may just be one/two loan signings in the coming weeks to bolster our central defence
You could be right.

Looks a solid side.

I'd plump for -

Pym
Sweeney Brown Martin Moxey
Taylor Law Boateng Martin
Forte Stockley

Subs - Hamon, Tillson, Oates, Holmes, Sparkes, Jay, Abrahams.

Nah, still don't see the three-at-the-back, you're fitting square pegs in round holes with Sweeney and Martin as wing backs. Particularly as we've just brought in a right-back.

GK) Christy Pym
(RB) Jimmy Oates
(CB) Troy Brown
(CB) Aaron Martin
(LB) Dean Moxey
(RM) Jake Taylor
(CM) Hiram Boateng
(CM) Nicky Law
(LM) Lee Martin
(AT) Jayden Stockley
(AT) Jonathan Forte

Bench

(GK) James Hamon
(LB) Craig Woodman
(CB) Sweeney
(CM) Jordan Tillson
(LM) Lee Holmes
(AT) Jack Sparks
(AT) Tristan Abrahams

The good think is our squad has players that allow you to play different formations.

We can go 3 - 5 - 2 with wing backs.

4 - 4 - 2.

We also have plenty of players that allow us to play 4 - 3 - 3.

Harsh on Sweeney, he was very solid last season, he will be starting imho.

Battling to be fit for Carlisle, mind. I'd expect the same side as Pobbop posted, but it might be a bit lacking in the centre of the park.

Jake Taylor needs to play in the middle, he's very good in there, he looks very average when he plays wide.

Matt Taylor seems to be a no nonsense kind of manager. Keeping that in mind I think he will play with a 4-4-2 and keep the options to swap to 4-3-3 on the bench. Starting 11 almost picks itself.

Hamon

Tilson
Jay

Holmes
Woodman

Perhaps swapping Holmes for Taylor could be an option too.

We appear to have a range of options for attacking midfielders: Boateng, Taylor, Martin, Law, Holmes, Sparkes. We do however have a lack of defensive midfielders: Tilson.

I think Tilson will start most games, with 3 of the other six making up a 4 across midfield.
