What's going on?
They seem to have added an extra round to the competition, but there are quite afey byes ans walkovers.
We seem to have already got past Gargoyle and Tavistock in the first two rounds without kicking a ball.

Tiverton couldn't raise a side for their game at Tavistock as they had injuries and couldn't play any of our loan player's which left them with seven players. I think they hoped it would get rearranged but it seems Tavistock got a walkover and will now play us. Haven't heard of anything happening to Tavistock to cause a walkover.

Tavistock are having a lot of success in the cups at the mintue even without playing a game. If they win on Saturday in the FA Cup they will be one win from the first round proper I think!

I suspect the reason for the change may be more teams eligible due to the re-organisation of the Peninsular League to Premier East and Premier West - both Step 6/ Level 10 - when previously there was a single Premier with two Step 7 feeder divisions. This brought the likes of Axminster, Honiton, Brixham etc into the competition.

Although the translation of the piece the mangled text comes from does sum up the experience of going to places like Tavistock, Torrington, Holsworthy etc in midweek...
