The tournament kicks off today when Japan play Russia. I think kick off is at 11.45 our time.

We were going to go to Japan for the closing stages, but the prices were horrendous so that's not happening.

England should progress out of the group stage, and worthy of a place in the semi-final but sure if we'll get beyond that.

Despite some odd kick off times, there should be plenty of classic games to watch.

England are in the group of death and one of us, France and the Argies won't be going through so it's going to be tough. The report on SSN this morning shows the Japs have really bought into the World Cup and I reckon it'll be the best one yet.

Bring it on.

Apparently I've been saying 'Tonga' wrongly for 40 years.

Always thought whoever lost the NZ v SA group clash would go on to win it, so get your money on SA. <old taps nose smiley> :)

Good to see an Exeter bauy score a try, nice one Luke CD.

The crowd singing an American spiritual in support of the England team, playing an American team, is obviously working. 19-0 up at half-time. Our Exeter bauy has scored again !

The Yanks in the crowd could always sing this - might even upset the French ;)
