Meanwhile, in a "we appear to be back where we started from" moment, the Northampton Supporters Trust (which was a significant factor in the start of the ECST) are now talking about taking over the Club [again!]

Former Northampton Town owner Anthony Cardoza has been declared bankrupt, unsurprising move where is trying to make sure he desn't have to repay the £2.1m that he is supposed to be repaying Northampton Borough Council.

Latest in the Northampton Town saga. Not the easiest of reads, and I'm not sure Deloitte come out of this well eiether

It is certainly good news that the Cardozas seem to be getting their financial "come uppance". It however does highlight the appalling decision of the CPS in accepting a plea bargain in case the against Russells. Mr Russell of course copped a guilty plea, in return for charges against his wife being dropped. With their not inconsiderable, family assets being all in her name, it effectively prevented City from recovering the monies which they misappropriated from us. Grrr !

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
I think the saying is “Throwing good money after bad”

No matter what misdemeanours by various individuals.Ultimately it was up to the County Council to make sure taxpayers money was invested wisely, with correct protocols in place.

Another saying “A fool & their money will always be parted”
