Fair report that, they’re right, we were the better team. I thought their keeper made a blinding save at 0-0 but it seems we were 1-0 down at the time, I must have misremembered.

Bring on Leicester in December!

A very young team for U23s again; ten teenagers in the starting line up.

An U23s we could field if there were no first team injuries would include (

Hamon
Oates O’Shea Croll Hartridge
Collins Tillson Sparkes Jay
Ogbene Abrahams

That includes a couple of over age players, but is very close to City’s reserve team from the first team squad, compared to the very young team actually fielded. It will be a real coup to get a result with such young players.

It wasn't a great game TBH, nothing like s engaging as the U-18s last week, and kinda petered out in the last 15 minutes. Norwich hit the bar 4 (or 5?) times and could and should have won comfortably. Our lads gave it a good go and played some tidy football albeit with a few too many long balls down the lines, however, and can be satisfied with a draw. Onwards and upwards.
