Only one home game. One more than last season at least, but I hope we get a real test before the big kick-off.

Last season, MT was quite clear that he was disappointed that no friendlies had been arranged v league opposition and sorted one out at short notice v Bristol Rovers. Can only therefore assume that the july 20 date will be v another league club.

Some weak oposition in that list, was expecting 2 or 3 games against teams above us.

We didn't start the season too badly though did we? Or in the previous season when we also played only local games against lower league opposition.

Just as long as the home friendly isn't against MK

We're about 75 miles too far to the south west for Tisdale to consider travelling that far for a friendly.

I imagine it will be quite a while before any fixture against MKD will be regarded as a friendly. Can't imagine PT wanting to come anywhere near here unless he has to.

Interesting that Torquay of the national league have friendless versus League Two Exeter and Plymouth and championship Swansea already lined up, with those three games all being at home...

Oh, a little harsh there 89er. I know we've always regarded the chipnickers like slightly annoying little nephews but to call them that is a little cruel? I'm sure we'll be all chums together as long as it's only a warm up game.
