The Scum Newspaper are set to send out free copies of their trashy paper to coincide with the world cup. They struck a deal with Royal Mail, to do the deliveries.

Needless to say, Liverpool postcodes are exempt from receiving, as well as Warrington (which I'm glad that's my postcode) and some CH postcodes, which I'm guessing would include the wirral/birkenhead.

Posties in Skelmersdale have threatened to walk out if any of the papers get through the gates, which I don't blame them. Up here skem is full of scousers or plastic scousers, but has a Wigan postcode.

Despite them finally admitting they lied it was far too late and there are Liverpool fans up and down the country that won't read that trash.

I fully back any postie who refuses to deliver it.

I'm not a Liverpool fan & I wouldn't read that Tory biased rag, they told the brain dead to vote Tory in 2010, and the brain dead did, now we'll lose our NHS as well as our Royal Mail!! to their rich buddies!!

Power to the Posties!! Together we are stronger!! But they're successfully tearing us apart!!

Posties deliver all sorts, including party political junk mail from all parties. It's not for them to decide what they do and don't deliver - or are they now the guardians of free speech? They should do what they're paid to do, which is deliver the mail.

Much as i hate The Sun, It should be those people where the free ones are delivered to decide if to keep it or bin it, Not the postal service. By the way this is the same Union that Chris Webb runs in this area who tried to tell people of a village in Devon who petitioned The Royal Mail to keep the same local postie when they wanted to change him but won said that this was unfair and should not be allowed to do it

Of course we could still have the 'free money for everyone' party in power couldn't we? Skint? No problem we'll just borrow some more money from the magic money tree. Hurray!!
Neither party is good, granted, but painting the Tories as the 'nasty mean party who only care about the rich' implies that the red ties were saints.

And this still detracts from the real point which is that the Sun is a **** paper along with the other redtops (Mirror/Mail/Star etc).

Our debt under this coalition government will go from £0.7 Trillion to £1.4 trillion in 5 years. This government are borrowing at a quicker rate than any government in history. Labour before the crash actually had borrowed fairly responsibly. I agree though that neither are particularly good.

So are you saying that the government should be cutting more savagely then they already are?

The point i am making is that its not what you borrow for but what you borrow to fund.

Also to dismiss the myth at debt is main stay of any fight by this current government(Aimed at the Tories mostly).
