This bloke Cummings. Why is he given so much prominence? He's an unelected hanger-on. If he wants to get involved he should stand for election. Nice to poke your oar in but have no accountability. Is he paid?

Tories in one poll this weekend on 38% and 15% ahead of Labour in 2nd. It’s as if all the angry left rants against Boris and his Brexit policy is falling on deaf ears. How can this be?
Perhaps if more people just called him ‘Johnson’ instead of ‘Boris’ his appeal would just collapse.:)

The question is how many seats the Tories and TBP will get combined, would TBP be prepared to form an axis with the Tories : and what would the combined number of seats of Labour and Libs be, and would the latter be prepared to join Labour to make a majority govt.

The Tory calculation that even if the BP are polling 12-15%, as UKIP did in the GE 2015, it should still give them a workable majority.

Polls are there to influence rather than measure, look how Teaser got over excited pre 2017 election, and then what happened.

Be interesting to see the ‘polls’ results should the UK still be a member of the EU on 1 Nov.

Your definitions of democracy and respect are slightly different from mine, but we've been there lots of times already...

Interesting to see that, according to this poll, an impressive 8% of Leave voters intend to vote Labour. Looks like the NEC motion carried at Conference, and the defeat of the Remain motion on the grounds that "supporting this would be disloyal to Jeremy" have been staggeringly successful in keeping Leave voters on board...

Were the Labour Party to come out publicly and say "There's no such thing as a good Brexit - let's rebuild Britain instead" it wouldn't do any worse that it's doing right now and all the polling suggests that it'd do a whole lot better. The Leave vote isn't that solid, after all, it's just that there's a dearth of inspiration and hope on the Remain side. But Labour won't change, it'll suffer a crushing defeat and the country will drift not so gently down the pan.

Still, it's what people want, so that's alright
