In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
1979..Note the Union Flag rather than the cross of St George as the preferred flag for football supporters.
That carried on until around 1990 iirc.
The lad in the middle holding the Exeter City scarf is a former poster on this forum Red Box.

Yes mate..A few battle stories to tell from many that went.
I love the city of Liverpool,but it was not a nice place for outsiders back then on a football day.

Morecambe March 2004..None of us had ever visited the rundown seaside resort before(it has improved along the promenade since those days)
A good day out though..Great memories in these tough times.😎.

Not the best of away days from the season.
Nothing much around where the ground is situated.
I couldn’t wait to get back to my car to warm up🥶🥶

It was really freezing that day, cheap enough to get in but as you said nothing near it.

Yes..£10 was a excellent admission price 😁

Certain grounds I look forward to visiting for the day out.
Salford will not be high on my list next season.

I was really looking forward to Saturday at Cheltenham as that’s a good day out and great food at the ground.
