Kenny Lynch aged 81 , he had several pop hits in the early 1960’s .

Also a comedian at a time when Black comedians were rarely heard of in the UK, I can only remember him and Charlie Williams

Charlie Williams

A man who could take it when he lost. We finished 1976-77 on a great run of results, including a 4-3 win at Barnsley after IIRC being 3-0 down. Charlie, who was Barnsley's chairman I think, reacted with "It were a reet good win, and the best of luck!"

Didn't know he was also a songwriter, the one most familiar to me being The Small Faces hit "Sha-La-La-La-Lee", which he co-wrote.
