The people in our village step outside to clap and wave to each other, the chapel bell dongs and there were a few fireworks too last week. Don't think the plague has got here yet.

Think lockdown fatigue has finally set in. Heard pretty much nothing tonight and what there was lasted about 30 seconds.

A definite sign that whilst people still do immensely support the NHS workers, people are just too fed up to muster enthusiasm anymore it seems.

Kid got the pan out and gave it some welly but not much else from the street.

Yes , we did the old pan trick , made a bit more noise. Difficult , as only three of us , not much noise from the village a mile or two away tonight.

It's 'nice' each week. See the neighbours, see those opposite give thanks, have a chat.

Glad that the Met have ended all that virtue signalling nonsense from Westminster Bridge. Clap, locally, in your workplace/home like the rest of us. Don't make a big song and dance display and then moan when people gather to watch.

Next week we are being asked to clap Thursday and Friday. Thursday as usual for our carers and key workers, Friday for the veterans on the VE Day 75th.
