That was a very tough test passed today(just)

Very few teams get anything at Newport these days & I thought we stood up to the physical test very well.
A Tisdale team would have rolled over as witnessed numerous times over the years.
Well pleased with the point & performance. The run continues.
Numerous times? It wasn't that long ago we tanked them 4-1 at The Mud Parade. And we've picked up results there since then. In fact we've only lost three times to them since their return to the league and one of those was at home.

Gosh it was hot!
Good team performance to get the draw.
Ref really inconsistent in penalising us, constantly, but allowing their players to get away with it.

Matt Taylor unhappy with the performance of the referee as well.

A decent point, hard-earned by all accounts. Very pleased that we showed courage in refusing to succumb to intimidation from a physical team. Great to be top, while the poor relations down the A38 are nowhere. If you listen carefully you can hear the sound of gnashing teeth.

Club record is 13 games and that is the record which we have equalled today.

Newport didn’t need to break up the play they had the referee
To do that for them.
Every frigging time we challenge for the ball he gave them
a free kick.

Not specifically Newport County I was taking about.

Lost the previous two games at Rodders Parade before today in abysmal fashion.

Just watched the sky highlights, there was a passage of play between 30 seconds and 40 seconds into the footage where Moxey made two mistakes, would Martin have been dropped for doing the same ?
