You're not for one minute suggesting he is a better player than our esteemed Club Captain are you? Even if we could afford the wages he no doubt has enjoyed latterly I suspect he won't drop below League One.

He still holds the club in some affection, having attended the Dom Sanders Memorial Cricket tournament in Bromley the other week.

Would he come back (were we to be able to afford him)? No chance, I suspect.

He left because of the poor wages on offer. Nothing has changed.

It was all my doing in any case, when a pal and I spoke to him on the Tube after our defeat at Charlton last (!) season.

God I wish we had a centre back of his calibre these days. He'll get picked up by Sheffield United or someone like that I suspect.

Class centre half at league 2 and 1 level , lacks a yard for the championship - he's light years ahead of the 2 weve got in there at the moment , Danny Coles ? give me a break , he's arse.

You're kidding right? Even a lot of Charlton fans are saying they'll miss him.
He'll go to a top half L1 side.
