Looks like Paul Buckle is odds-on favourite to take the Stevenage job.

So the move to the US is off then?

But Sturrock will still lead them out at Wembley in the JPT. Recognition that promotion hopes over, and need to build now for next season?

is that a green light for Sturrock to be back down the road next season do you think?

Confirmed. David Miliband steps down from the Sunderland board in protest. Odd appointment.

Not so odd when you see Mark Hughes & Schteve McLaren mentioned as favourites. Surprised Adkins jumped at Reading job, but I suppose all other Prem Manager jobs looked tied up bar Sunderland.

Putting the fun and the mental back into fundament
Fair play to David Miliband on this on imho. Disagreed with the appointment so he lefted.
I can't quite work out if there is some form of irony intended in this post.

In the end, I reckon its just bad spelling.

At the start of this season I think I would have had a good chance of nameing the manager of each league club. Now I have given up hope of that. I can't keep up with the merry-go-round. Nice to read that Warnock reckoned Leeds was his last football management job. Doubt its true, though.
