It used to be two words, isca. But, from about the mid-1920s, it started to be used as one word which has now become it's most accepted form.

The fact that, even though the ExeWeb clock does appear to have adjusted somewhat from BST to GMT it's still wris-T-WATT-ing wrong. (currently approx. 15 minutes out....and counting.

If the mods spent less time squabbling about Brexit and devoted a little more towards basic chronology the world would be a far happier place.

And, as one word, it has similarities to Mansfield's technical area.

It has an unacceptable **** in the middle of it.
