Went to Download a few weeks back or should I say Drownload, once the music started we didn't care....don't think it's rained since I watched Slayer play their last ever show in the UK on the final night but what a show.
Since then I was at Sum 41 up at Rougemont Castle which was fun and last week I endured the Hoosiers in Rougemont gardens who were quite awful

Jenny Lewis tomorrow night in Bristol
What a show! Absolutely amazing. Followed it up with mother nature's own light and sound show watching the thunder and lightning on Weston Super Mare beach at 12:30 am.

Agree totally with the actual musical credentials of some of those "manufactured" 70s pop bands.

The Sweet could match Purple or Sabbath rock for rock - just check out some of their b-sides.
Sweet are playing at the Phoenix on Thursday Dec 19th.
