Didn’t MT say the reports linking us with him...erm..had no substance...?
Manager's say a lot of things although Matt does appear to speak from the heart when interviewed. Would be nice to think that we were looking at this sort of player though

Scored again on Saturday now has 12 league goals (joint second top scorer behind Jamie Reid), for a mid table National league side, possibly struggling to make ends meet https://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/club-chairman-hits-out-at-own-fans/170395 with a record transfer fee received of £25,000.

Still worth an enquiry as to availability as he is on two year contract and only 21ish

For goodness sake sign him and let them have Ajose in part exchange.

I saw him play for Boreham Wood at Woking earlier this season. Class act, scored both goals. Strong, quick and knows where the back of the net is.

But so did the PAFC goalie the other week!

Had a quick 'surf ' of the net on this guy ( https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/ex-brighton-striker-jonah-ayunga-can-put-himself-in-football-league-shop-window-at-havant-waterlooville-and-that-may-include-portsmouth-interest-1-8998733 )whose goals in the NL south are mounting up, and where Kabongo was last season and I would say that KT is different class and wasted in NL, problem would probably be getting the player to move down as his clubs all seem to be around the North London Milton Keynes Oxford Triangle, but then one of his team mates is Danny Woodards.

How does a team like Borehamwood sign ex pros and maintain a good size squad and management team and put up a promotion challenge to the football league (beaten play off finalists when Tranmere went up, They did take 16000 loyal supporters to Wembley then) on crowds of between 400 - 800 and their highest player sales receipt is £25,000. Their chairman must have deep pockets.

We could always offer a deal similar to the one we struck when we signed David Wheeler

I'd double it and pay £50,000 for him. That would be money well spent then eventually make a big profit from him once we get to League One.

Borehamwood deal or no deal?
