Ignoring threads.

When I'm browsing the forums I normally only click the 'new posts' button rather than looking up specific forums and threads. This, however, presents its own problems in that it includes threads I have no interest in which have been posted in since my last visit. For instance, the popular music quiz keeps popping up - I know you can put posters on ignore, but is it possible to put threads on ignore too?

It's a got point that Ant makes. I've had a look in the admin area, and I can't see any way of ignoring a thread. Hopefully the facility will be available in new Exeweb.

Ooooh, new Exeweb. Tell us more.

Anyway, back to OP. I just click on Forum and ignore any thread that doesn't interest me.

Yes, that's you. Of course I can not click a thread if I don't want to view it, but I'd prefer it if I didn't have to see it there at all. It's not a deal breaker, just a preference and I was wondering whether there was an option to do this at all. Perhaps as Hants says it'll be an option in the new site.
