Not surprised by this after just one proper first team game last season I couldn’t see him suddenly jumping straight in as a first team regular.

Thought Hartridge played well for Bath this evening.

Has scored to put Bath a goal up and they now currently lead 3-0.

I spent a delightfully sunny afternoon at Twerton Park, watching Bath vs Eastbourne Borough.

Alex was responsible for probably the best piece of play in the first half - tackled the opposing striker cleanly but hard enough to put the guy on the floor, then up and pinged a 50 yard pass into space for a winger to run onto. He was steady throughout, only to blot his performance by losing possession cheaply which gave the opposing striker a clean run on goal for Eastbourne's second.

Aside from the one error, he looked steady throughout. Vocal, he seemed to be organising the defence, which included Connor Riley-Lowe. I have to say CRL has found his level.

Bath should beat Dorking this afternoon, but Weymouth in the semis will be a different proposition.

Ryan Brunt with a penalty brings it back to 1-2.
