Tristan Abrahams robs the Forest Green keeper of possession to set up Newport's first. Then later on forces a foul out of the same keeper resulting in a sending off.

Halifax 2 (McAlinden x 2) Solihull Moors 1 (A Nichols) in the National league today. Nichols had a last minute equaliser chalked off for a marginal offside too.

Goals galore from former City forwards yesterday. As well as those listed above (Watkins 2, McAlinden 2, Alex Nicholls , Ryan Loft, Jamie Cureton) there were also goals for Jamie Mackie at Oxford and Jamie Reid for Torquay.

Top notch team goal from Rochdale yesterday away at Southend and Jimmy Keohane (No. 13) fully involved in it

Although he hardly set the world alight here or at Yeovil he did seem to "have something about him" and would not have been upset if he stayed here longer. I liked seeing his name on the teamsheet but I couldn't really say why.

Guaranteed to have a blinder against us
