Luton with their

Indeed..The club is not in a position to choose a sponsor for shirts.

A lot is said about betting companies & alcohol manufacturers sponsorship at football clubs, but there are a lot more issues in the game to worry about.
I'm not saying I agree with a Betting Co. or Beer Co. as our sponsor, I'm saying that I trust the club to make the right decision considering all factors.

I guess it's all a question of personal choice and what matters individually to us as people. None of us are right or wrong or should be castigated for our personal protests. It's just what we individually find is appropriate and acceptable.

If the club decide to have a betting company then I fully understand it's a business decision and what's best for the club. I'm not angry with them if this is what they decide to do. All i'm doing is exercising my right to protest by not buying shirts etc as i disagree with it. Nothing more than that.

I'd probably do the same if we were sponsored by McDonalds or Bernard Matthews or even Dogs Trust (unless you've worked for them then you wouldn't understand) so it's each to our own i guess.

Some fans won't bat an eyelid about any new sponsor and some might object but ultimately the club wouldn't be doing anything wrong in any case.

Not totally relevant, but I see them there Yanks are starting to use the word "deplane" rather than "disembark".
You would have thought it would have meant "having your plane taken away"
Bleddy Americans : still playing around with the English language. Gotta have their own word for it

Ironic following my blast at the Yanks.
Got that bleddy habit and can't shake it off
Glad you got in there before Lord Tebbern did.
