That is what I'm hearing and that the first team will come under the wings of ECFC rather than ECFC Community Trust as it does currently. I've heard more but I'll keep quiet on that until it all comes out properly.

Only if any of them are on contracts. If they are that would mean they are paid which I have no idea if any of them are

I find this a little bizarre. The men's team have been promoted to step 4 football and average gates are around what Exmouth Town get 200 or less. Their women were averaging less than 100 a game. Players at step 4 could be on 50-100 quid a game. Therefore, unless there is an owner putting in stupid money I can't see how Moneyfields can even afford to pay one set of wages let alone two when they are barely making enough to pay for the officials

I wonder what it actually means in cash terms. The manager says 'don't get me wrong, it's not a full time salary by any stretch'. And they also say this is a 'moving toward equality'. Slightly worryingly the words 'parity and equality' are in massive typeface, with near them in tiny, tiny lettering 'moving towards'. So the impression given and the actual outcome may be very different things.
