In 1994 Terry Cooper returns to manage the Grecians after Alan Ball left for Southampton.

The old saying ‘you should never go back’ rings true.

The club were in a downward spiral,sailing close to the relegation wind from Division 3 the previous two seasons,it was a difficult task to turn that around.

From memory the Grecians were mid table when he departed.
