Leach has gone for 92. Deserved the ton and it would have been great to have carried his bat.

Now a ridiculous run out. No Pants has to go.

4 down and the 122 deficit is hurting

Perhaps they should just pick 11 "night-watchmen" for the Ashes series?

Jeeeeezzzzz ! Now Bairstow goes for his second duck in the match, five wickets down. Time for Root to stand up and play a captain's innings or we will be facing the Aussies as a feckin shambles !

Where are the Boycotts, Edriches, Cowdreys, Barringtons.
WTF. Some of these batsmen couldn't get into my old grammar school team. Bleddy snowflakes.

Make that 7 as Root perishes.

Curran needs to dig us out of a hole yet again .

Make that 248-8 as Woakes goes ! At now 256-8, with Englands lead just 134.

180-9 effectively as Curran departs after playing a one day knock. He got 37 so not criticising his approach. Probably more effective than fannying around for 10.
