I hear you...but teams have been promoted and relegated in the past for scoring or conceding only goal fewer than another...
True. But very rarely. And after playing a whole season with everyone playing each other home and away.

You might as well get a pools panel to forecast the remaining games, it'd be no more unfair.

National League suspended indefinitely, and legal advice being sought.
"The National League Board met earlier today and has reviewed its prior decision to suspend the competition until at least 3rd April 2020.

"In consideration of the very serious and unprecedented national public health emergency caused by the coronavirus, the Board has taken the decision to suspend the National League, National League North and National League South competitions indefinitely.

"The National League is currently obtaining specialist legal advice, is consulting regularly with The Football Association and other stakeholders, and is committed to involving its member clubs in a pending decision on how best to conclude the 2019/20 season."

We need a club to come up to make the EFL 72 teams again. Then the EFL need a decision on how it will finish, and could Stevenage still get relegated, let alone the problems facing Macclesfield.

In an ideal world Satanage should be relegated, Macclesfield booted out for turning League 2 into a farce two seasons in a row, and three teams promoted from the Conference, (let them sort it out which three, no matter how they decide to do it). Of course if the likes of Oldham or Southend go "belly up" it could get even more complicated !

The EFL need to make sure that all clubs are solvent for the next season, including any that get promoted. I'd hope that they will be more stringent on this than the past.

How long of a pre-season is needed between the two seasons, could it be a month and that will deal with transfers and and pre-season training.

I still don't see the season below the Prem being finished. Talk of this month long seperated bootcamp for the PL to get its games sorted it's sort of plausible (but I doubt it'll happen - one case and the whole thing is ******), the EFL dont have the funds or the space to do such a thing with the 72 clubs.

IMO it'll come down to void or PPG.

PPG would be subject to too much dispute legal or otherwise . It will be voided unless a miracle happens.
This is only being perpetuated because the Premiership are running scared that they will have to return Sky’ and the other sports channels’ cash if they can’t complete.
