Not a great day for the Cidermen at Taunton, and a good one for Essex at Canterbury.

We are the grandchildren of apes, not angels
Well, Warwickshire finally winkled out for a "mere" 419.
On a (very slightly) more positive note the Kent tail managed to way its way to 226 against the TOWIE Sports & Social Club - and it's currently raining at Canterbury!

Plenty of work ahead for the Cidermen if they're going to get back into this one. Kent are officially my second team today.

Meanwhile up in the Midlands, Somerset all out for 308 (a 1st innings deficit of 111), and Warks 6-0 after 2 overs.

25th wicket of the day has fallen at Canterbury. Essex at 89-6, needing 64 more runs for victory, it could be a tight finish !

Meanwhile Warks 113-7, a lead of 224 runs. The Cidermen need to wrap up the tail pretty quick to have any hopes of pulling off a victory.
