So with Roy and Morgan injured, we send in Woakes at 3. I was at Lord's when he hit his Test ton, and I'd argue he is possibly England's most technically correct batsman currently.

Hampshire really struggling against Essex. First innings deficit of almost 100 runs, already lost a wicket in their second innings (currenty 5 for 1).

You may well ask, now 32 for 7 and Hants need 64 more runs to avoid an innings defeat ! Good news for the Cidermen, but their next game is at Chelmsford on Sunday.
