Indeed. And has done so in the past too. I think his technical ability in passing isn't actually an issue.I know it was against a demoralised Vale side but he pinged some pretty decent passes in the second half last Saturday.
It's more about composure, thinking time and getting the ball moving quickly. This is improving, but from a low base - especially as his start in League football included a spell at LCB for a right footer who was consequently told not to take any chances on distribution. His instruction now is the complete opposite.
Anyway, here's hoping. If Cheick's performance on the ball improves significantly he becomes one hell of a player.
