I’ll start with The Practical Way to a good Memory ( seriously) by Dr Bruno Furst.Well ,I have stared at the title a few times , must remember to drop it down the charity shop sometime.
And , to my shame , the three Troy books series by the late great David Gemmell. They are the only Gemmell books I’ve yet to read . Maybe this wintertime?

War and Peace - Tolstoy.......and I suspect it's gonna stay there for another couple of years as well, too big for my work bag on the train :)

I did have quite a few, but my change of jobs last year saw to that, and now I'm in need of a refresh.

I've got six half-read books in my pile, which is pretty normal for me.

Never done this before
I bought Simon Sharma's 'Landscape and Memory' over 20 years ago, still regularly take it on holiday with the intention to plough through it (it is a mighty tome), but I've yet to get beyond Chapter 1, entitled 'In the realm of the Lithuanian Bison'.

It's now become a bit of a standing joke at home - things that I never quite get around to doing are described by wifer as 'languishing in the realm of the Lithuanian Bison'.

I also have a lot of half-read books on the go. I get stuck on a big word then have to put it down and start another one. My wife says I should stick to Ladybird or colouring books
