Cureton had his best goalscoring form when paired with Logie....

Cureton is miles apart from the rest in terms of quality/class so his partner should be someone who brings the best out of him , ie Logie.
Completely agree, me and the chap I go city with have been saying the same for what feels like months. Curetons goals have dried up since logies time on the pitch has been cut.

Oflynn is good (reminds me of stanno with his workrate), but he is too similar to cureton.

Both don't seem to work the space upfront that well (I thought hartlepool did this excellently). Time and time again you see them both making the same run leaving the ball player with one less option. This is why the amount of sh*t lofted balls up to them has increased, with the aerial balls not even being competed for. It is so easy to defend against it's untrue.

Personally, I think any combination of our four main strikers would work well, EXCEPT Cureo and O'Flynn. That said, Logger does appear to have been better off the bench recently.

I'd like to see Cureo and Nardie start a few games. Cureo plays nicely off the shoulder and down the channels, while Nardie isn't afriad to drop into midfield which not only gives us an extra option in the middle but creates space up top.

Also - when each striker starts how many goals the strikers score
Cureton 17
Nardiello 11
Logan 15
O Flynn 11

From that it seems Nardiello and O'Flynn would be our best options.....

Interesting stats, Zyderman, but a tad inconclusive... It depends on how many minutes these players were on the field together, who the opposition was, who played in midfield, if we played at home or away (remember we can't expect to score at home cos the pitch is against us) etshetera...But it does look like it has to be Cureton + one other... I haven't given up on O'Flynn..[y]

I don't think it shows it has to be Cureton or one other, for me it shows it should either be a partnership of Logan and Cureton, or a partnership of Nardiello and O'Flynn.... maybe thats how its set up in training, maybe that why those two pairings work the best?
