Meanwhile the vacuous Heidi Allen has all but 'fessed up to the death of Change UK with hints of a takeover by the Lib Dems. I expect Chuka will demand he should be leader. Hope Sourberry can fit in well with them.

They'll scuttle off back to their respective parties and will probably be deselected at the earliest opportunity

Cannot see any of the three ex Tories going back. They would have as bright a future prospect there as the wretched Teaser.

Fancy thinking that Nigel Farage and Stephen Yaxley-Lennon are the good guys. The Right in this country choose really awful people to be their heroes.

Shows a remarkable set of priorities that a government that can happily throw 500 million to continue protecting the national liability that is Failing Greyling but refuses to find 30 million to tide over a national asset such as British Steel.

It goes against their ideology but happy to keep subsidising private rail companies

Not much that hasn't already been aired in public.

A former colleague of mine, who alongside his work at my former employer is a senior bod at the IEA, made a very similar point re: bailing out private companies.

It doesn't really matter as he'll soon be leaving the country when Boris becomes PM (like he promised).

Is Gove going to stab Boris in the back again? Is Boris gaining traction amongst his fellow MPs? As long he gets to the last two, he's a shoe in given the members love him. I'm hearing the pro-EU pack are favouring him over their doomsday scenario of Raab, which I found a bit weird.
