I've quite enjoyed this fixture previously, we seem to have a bit of love for Jim Bentley and even Kevin Ellison appears to escape any ill feelings. However we've had a rest and our players have had time to get over knocks and niggles, they've got a long journey ahead and, let's be honest, they are no great shakes are they ? So we should knock em for six.

Potential banana skin then.

IMO Kevin Ellison is a League 2 hero. Honest about himself, always gives his all, engages with the crowd, scores some great goals.

Probably means he'll have a poor game on Saturday.

Ellison is a player you can't stand in oppo colours but would love to have in your side.

Incidentally he recently donated a signed (by the Morecambe squad) shirt for auction in honour of the Stanno Foundation. Good lad.

Kevin Ellison is someone deep down most teams in League Two would love to have. He is equally a tremendous role model to those suffering mental health issues and goes out of his way to help support many young people. I will give him a well deserved clap Saturday. We don't have many characters in the game like him anymore

Ah well, never mind.

I see he has found a new "friend" in Joey Barton.

I imagine he will be puffed up after indulging over Xmas time, watching Huxtable prance around isn't a pretty sight.

Should be easy City win by 2 goal margin, 2-0 or 3-1

Reffed at Argyle on NYD without incident. Not particularly card-happy (91 yellows in 26 games) but gave out 11 yellows and a red at Bristol Rovers plus a red for Barton the Saturday before Xmas.
