The Stansfield Stand wasn't funded by the sale of youth players, it was funded by the developers building the student flats behind the Big Bank.

I remember on the following Saturday because the game at Dagenham was postponed,a load of supporters(about 60 of us)went to Elmore(Adams 1st club) to watch them in a FAC extra preliminary round fixture.
The Stansfield families were also in attendance..A great afternoon in sad circumstances.

A shame that what appears to be a good article has been undermined by basic avoidable errors.
