At 6ft 2in, it looks uncomfortably like a Stockley replacement is being lined up, unless we are stockpiling big strikers.

A number of ‘well fans saying they’ve heard the bid has been accepted and he’s definitely on his way.

27 years old. Scored 10 in the SPL last season and was previously at Torquay. Seems to have a good scoring record at National League level but played very little at this level. We will see what happens but if this has legs then the Stockley rumours are looking more likely.

Unless he's (Ryan) off to Grimsby.

14 goals in 86 matches? No thanks, unless we have lost interest in getting promoted.

Bowman’s rate Of scoring in the Scottish Prem is ten in less than two seasons, which is slightly better than Stockley ‘s at five goals in just over one season .

Replacing Stockley mid season is nightmare. Bowman has a decent record in the Conference and at 27 is just reaching his peak. Worth a punt as we pursue other options?; prices will otherwise move dramatically against us as the window progresses.

Maybe losing Stockley will force us to use Forte, Abraham and ogbene more, and therefore play a more passing game.

Unfortunately it appears more & more likely. If this is to be the case lets hope he signs off in style v Grimsby.
