He was in hospitality a couple of seasons back, and as guest speaker asked if anyone was wearing ted baker gear, one guy was wearing a shirt of that brand and he got a big hug from ray Kelvin,it appeared that he hugged people as a normal greeting,I don’t think anyone took offence he just seemed larger than life,as for the accusations who knows ?

Is he still connected to the club in anyway, or is his loyalty solely to Paul Tisdale?

Have you actually read beyond the headline? Sigh.

Like you, I don't have a big issue if Ray Kelvin likes to give his friends / colleagues a hug. However, the story reports it's been alleged that it sometimes went further that that – 'I've seen the CEO ask young female members of staff to sit on his knee, cuddle him, or let him massage their ears,' 'Forced hugs and kisses. Invitations to star in porn movies with Ray [the CEO] in the middle of the office in front of everyone.'

To be clear, do you think that's acceptable behaviour?!

Not sure about all that but know Tis adopted the hug players approach, which I personally have nothing against, think Southgate takes a similar view. Looks like a load of ******** to me but what do I know?

You hug your friends and family. Or sometimes work colleagues to celebrate something. You don't ask people who work under you/rely on you for money to hug you or sit on your lap. Nothing 'PC gone mad' about it. It's not normal. If true, it's classic freaky weirdo manipulative power-tripping behaviour masquerading as 'character'.

I could reel off a whole list of 60s/70s/80s/90s/00s famous 'characters' who we've heard a lot about in the past few years but I don't want to get the thread shut down.

Sounds like this guy 'hid in plain sight'. Where have I heard that phrase before?

Do you sit on bosses lap? Unless Louis CK is your boss this is not normal behaviour in a workplace.

Yeh I've read the article again and I can see now that the guy is weird. I mean, there he is CEO of a very large company, all that money and power, has a gorgeous young lady sitting on his lap and what does he want to do?? Massage their EARS! (facepalm) Now that is unnatural.
