..... in the last year.

Sex Pistols Experience
Lo Moon
Boniface
The Soap Girls
China Crisis
Tom Bailey
A-ha
KT Tunstall
The Pretenders
Simple Minds

Loads more I would have gone to if I had the time and money.

Tears for Fears and Alison Moyet next year. The Specials in Exeter in April is tempting too.

Due to circumstances at home hardly ever get to see bands at the moment.

Last one was Eddie Reader at the Phoenix.

I do enjoy (really) a lot of the Exeter High Street buskers though.

Including these two ...

One of the best I've seen there were "Galway Street Club" who true to their roots, took to the High St one afternoon a few months back, when they were in town for a Cavern Gig. Plenty of videos on YouTube, even a documentary about them too.

Wolf Alice. They were bloody brilliant. It's been a sparse year for live music for me though.

Impeccable taste there sir!!!

How did Carl's "Emerson & Lake-less" variety compare with the original?

Not seen any, nor bought any new music. A first for me, I suspect.

Thank you kindly... Very different as no keyboards (aside some background ones played through the sound system) and no vocals  But it was still an amazing night and the two other musicians were very proficient and Carl himself was absolutely amazing.. Even at his age the energy was incredible and still better than any other drummer currently playing or ever IMHO... Had a chat with the great man afterwards and got some signed used drum sticks and drum head so top gig (y) Also after each song he had some great stories of ELP to tell the audience that were top notch and very funny...
