That’s what I’m also reading, I could be wrong but you don’t survive those sort of helicopter crashes.

Small mercies but thankfully the helo didn't stall over a residential area, or while the crowd was leaving the ground. With the Matthew Harding accident in mind, but without knowing the stats, it does make you wonder how safe these private helo flights are, especially those made after dark ?

Slightly off topic but related to football and difficult situations, better news of Glenn Hoddle this morning. A curious co-incidence that he was taken ill yesterday on his birthday. Hoping he makes a full recovery.

I remember watching a BBC docu about life and businesses in the Lake District. One of the people they filmed had bought an old quarry and wanted to turn it into an adventure park etc. He was a larger than life character and flew his own helicopter for the daily commute up the mountain. It looked like a glorified model helicopter to be honest. Nothing like the Leicester City owner's.

He crashed while they were making the series.

Although sadly there are plenty more deaths everyday on our roads but we seem accustomed to those now.

Naughty BBC reporter Dan Roan in trouble after being overheard off-camera suggesting that the lady in the helicopter (former Miss Thai Universe Runner-Up) was more than just Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's PA and there was a lot of character whitewashing going on after his death................

Even if true and even it was a private conversation and not intended for broadcast it probably wasn't the best idea to say it at the memorial and site where they died.
