We’ll take your word for it, Stuffers

Whatever it’s called eventually, and as modest and quirky as it is, I’m loving the look of the away end. Never thought I’d ever think that in my lifetime!

Simply not grand enough for Kellow's stature in City's history. It's poor, no it's a disgrace by the club that of the three major stands in the ground that none of them have been named after him. I've no axe to grind about Stanno but, as I said earlier in this thread, his stature is incomparable to Kellow. Ivor Doble took us down the road to financial ruin yet he has a stand named after him yet our all time leading goal scorer across more than a century of history, and likely to be for a while yet, has nothing. Shambles.

You limit your horizons Elgy m'lad. From little acorns I can visualise (with Bill's help) a 30,000 stadium with Messi and Ronaldo running out for us.

We could re-erect the "Sir Tis End" to park the push bikes in.

The roof to the Big Bank leaks, there's no guarantee the leak to the Second Hand Stand won't too.

Don't know how the "the leak to" got in to the back half of that sentence.

Don't think former gateman Bill Johns did the away end, but if Mr Gates isn't forthcoming with the cash we could change it to Bill's Gate End.

I would prefer just the St James Rd end to it being called that.

Why was there no supporters consultation about the Stagecoach stand renaming ?.
It may have been that the majority opinion would have wanted it to be named after Adam Stansfield, but supporters were not given a chance to offer opinions.
It just seems a lazy decision to me(made with good intention)

As a small comfort, perhaps you would like know that there is a block of flats called "Kellow Court" so named in honour of the late, great Grecian. Sadly it is in Millwall territory, but I just couldn't pass up the golden opportunity that presented itself to me after promotion back in 1978. I did present Tony a photograph of it too !
