I am clearly a massive fan of Stockers and what he brings to the table, but there are one or two points I want to make on his performances.
If you look at the stats, he is second top scorer in the league one behind Norwood on 6. However, if you dig deeper he's had the most shots of anyone in the top scorer table, but his % on target is woefully low. He stands at 32% on target which means out of his on target shots tally of 8, he has scored 6. If he had got as many on target as Norwood who is getting on target 67% of the time, is it possible that he could have 12 goals by now? Even Sweeney on 4 goals has 63% on target, but I guess this is distorted by penalties?
I always feel with Jayden he only really goes into top gear when he has scored. Before this he spends a lot of time looking disgruntled and moaning at his fellow players for presenting the ball in the wrong place. Once he has scored he appears to me to be rejuvenated and more of a handful.
Am I the only person who thinks that he could really improve his jumping for the ball. He seems to me to make very few serious challenges for the ball and when he does he appears to give up very easily. Sometimes he really looks like he has lead boots and for such a strong young man this to me is sometimes frustrating. I know he is marked heavily and it is well documented how physically he is marked but I still think h could create more chances to score.
I'm not slating him, I think he is great for us, but there is definitely things he could improve to really up his game.
