Yes, it's a brutal sport, which is why at least the fighters deserve a fair decision at the end of the fight. But no, business rules. Hence the clear winner in the last two fights between Golovkin and Canelo (the former) was deprived of victory by the corrupt judges to maintain a money-making machine. And they wonder why boxing is dying.

I don't watch boxing but there must be some serious corruption behind Canelo. Terrible decisions...... drugs..... Nothing to see here guv.

If I was being REALLY conspiratorial I'd say they were planting female judges so that any dodgy decisions could be blamed on a 'clueless woman' instead of rank corruption.

In an ideal world no one would agree to fight him. But it's boxing. So they'll be queueing up.

I don't usually watch it either, Stelios, but I succumbed to my inner animal.
