Toughest game so far. I'm predicting a ding dong with Phil and Grant Cowley testing the fourth official's patience, a great battle between Aaron and Rhead, a big crowd, goals aplenty and red cards. 4-3 City.

Can't see us conceding 3.

Think we'll keep a clean sheet - Lincoln aren't the best side away from home. 2-0 win and back to top of the league where we remain for the rest of the season.

Another difficult game that'll test the team. Sweeney scores a controversial penalty and it finishes 1-0 to City.

I really hope we can play like we did 1st half against Carlisle as we created loads of chances and looked decent. Please not a consistent long ball game that I have a feeling is creeping in to our style. Without Forte it will be even less effective. We have the players to play a fast passing, high pressing game, particularly for the first 50/60 mins so lets do it! I'd play a 5 man midfield including Tilson to sit deep.

Anyway, 6-0 to City and a real eye opener to the rest of the division as Matty T gets it spot on and every decision and all the luck goes our way.
Stockley x3, Law, Tilson, and A Martin with the goals

1. I hope Messers Cowley remember that they - Management - can now get yellow/Red cards for berating the 4th Official, so keep it up 'lads'!

2. Plenty of Red Cards for anybody to do with Lincoln, players and 'or Management would be interesting!

Out of curiosity what happens to managers that are effectively sent off do they get banned for a match, do they also have to be careful of how many 'cards' they accumalate to avoid 3 match bans etc.

Well Del Bauy Adams served the first match of his two game ban last night. Am not sure of the exact rules (I am sure someone will post them up) but think that they mount up ad infinitum with the punishments increasing in severity, so "no wiping of the slate" at the end of season it appears !

Not currently banned
Four yellows is a one match ban, eight is two and twelve is three. Get sixteen and you're off to explain yourself in front of a panel.

Rules on reds seem a bit sketchy but i think one means a ban of at least one match.
