Wish I had kept all my old Shoot! Comics from late 70s to early 80s. Gave them all away. Would have been great to read through them again. Ho hum.

Anyone else a big Shoot fan back in the day? Used to love the double page centre spread (team photos). Now, disappointingly have to look at other less interesting centre spreads (sighs).

I use to read shoot. Think I may have a few league ladders and the clubs somewhere.

A company, Soccer Attic, had bought the rights to Shoot! and had all 30 years worth scanned ready to show online.
They do show some good full page scans from another vintage football magazine - Charles Buchan's Football Monthly.
The Shoot! project is on hold at the moment but worth checking back for progress.

I’ll take a look at that. I used to put the Coventry team spread on my school book when I was at school. I think Shoot pages covered most of my jotters, English and Maths books.

I preferred Goal magazine to Shoot!. A workmate of my dad's gave me a box of them knowing I was football crazy and I read them to death. My mum threw them out after I left home along with an ancient football annual printed for the Christmas after the 1953 Matthews Cup Final. I'll bet that would have had some value today.
