Northenhay Park has again been set up as a memorial to those that lost their lives in Word War I.

It has a trench with the small shrouds representing the dead, and there is a another exhibition of shrouds showing how many died on each of the 1561 days of the war.

If i had to agree with you we would both be wrong
Managed to purchase one of the figures last time this event took place , Tried to trace the family of the person named but they were only a small family and none of them are left.

Will certainly make time to attend this sombre tribute to the fallen and pay my respects.

Was quite proud that last time the first whistle blown by the Lord Mayor was my Great uncle's that was given to me for safe keeping.

Remember the dead , Don't forget the Living.

Was it really 2 years ago that this event took place ?

We bought a figure as we saw he had no known family and the shroud is now on my office wall.

Will be visiting again to pay respects and to remember.
