On this desert island they call International Football I thought I'd better start this thread before I fly away to Bali on Sunday.

To be honest, a bit like Tiswas' City, I cannot feel confident about our chances in this match. I think our players are a bit gormless, can't think for themselves, make bad decisions, and lack technique. Colombia will certainly do a job on Kane.

My head says Colombia will win 2-1 but I pray we will win 2-1.

My team would be :

Pickford - But only just
Walker - Right back
Maguire - Centre back
Cahill - Centre back
Young - Left back
Stones - Defensive midfielder with license to attack
Loftus-Cheek - 'Cos there's nobody else
Henderson - Midfield
Lingard - Floating attacker
Deli Ali - Link with Kane
Kane - The man

Have you actually been watching the England games?

You think he will drop Trippier for Cahill?

He will almost certainly line up with the same XI from the first game.

Yes. I"ve watched all the games. Walker right back. Cahill centre back. How do you work out fron my post that Cahill replaces Trippier? I suggest you read my post again.
No, I don't think his team will be the same as mine. I said "my selection would be....". Once again pls read my post again to understand it more clearly.

Because Trippier isn't in the side and Cahill takes his place. Positioning is irrelevant.

Hopefully the Colombians will do a lot of manhandling in the box.

As long as the Ref/VAR deals with it of course. :S

Davidson Sanchez (who I think is a very promising player) can be clumsy too with the occasional brain fart.
