I ws sat in a cafe in a tiny bay on a tiny Greek island this morning. A man asked where I am from and when I said Exeter he responded "Ah, Exeter City, the Grecians"!

Not unless he has become a (+/-) 70 year old Greek man in the last week.

No, Andros is full of Grecians. I'm as far east as you can go and still be in Greece, tiny island called Kastellorizo 4 hours from Rhodes. That's why I was so surprised.

I was chatting to a Swedish chap whilst on holiday in Fuerteventura last spring and he knew of ECFC and well remembered the Liverpool games.

Its a very long story but it works (sort of). Its been Greek forever, was a shipping and sponge diving island. Only 5 km from Kas, though!

The Greek government makes sure the population stays above 100. Actually a lot of Aussie Greeks have been doing up or rebuilding their old family homes, and its now thriving.
