Yes i was thinking that as well.
Why do they still call themselves MK DONS, when they now have no connection whatsoever with Wimbledon, where incidentally there is a Div 1 team called AFC Wimbledon!

AFC Wimbledon must still be laughing at MK Dons for being relegated from Div 1 to Div 2 and they stayed up!!

AFCW refused to use the "Dons" in their matchday programme for most recent fixture between the clubs, simply referring to them as MK. Although it was against the rules, and they had been warned against doing so, the FA seemingly turned a "blind eye" to this infraction, no doubt mindful of their shameful approval of FC Franchise in the first place.

Personally I detest MK's continued use of "Dons" . It is wholly inappropriate since the resurrection of AFC Wimbledon and I view it as a snub. If I was a Wimbledon fan, and I don't even know any, it would gall me and it's time MK did the decent thing and dropped it's use. Certain radio presenters won't call them Dons and I've got my own mini boycott going on too.

    That'll learn em.

Surely there's only one man for this job! ;-)
Wouldn't they be looking for someone with qualifications though ?

I think the fact that Gwinnett has gone to MK as PT's assistant bears out the fact we didnt need a GK coach anymore. As I've previously said, Pym was beyond the point where he needed a dedicated coach. There was nothing more to be learned!

    Two comments.
    1) Mel Gwinnett was the coach for all of our goalkeepers, not just Christy Pym.
    2) I was under the impression that CP had not yet learnt how to come out to an attacking player and spread his body correctly.
