He caught it perfectly. Seemed effortless as it screamed into the net. Great goal.
That's it, his shots have often been described as "powder puff" on here and yet even when firing in a 30 yard piledriver he seems to be placing the ball in the net. Pure quality.

The best view is from behind the goal, you realise how fast the ball was travelling and how little chance the keeper had to save it.

Their keeper'll be disappointed - or he should be. (tmi)

Not sure that the shot didn't take a tiny deflection?

Never been a doubt in my mind at our level harley is a class act and i think through his performance in the play offs were seeing another of the benifits of havin a large squad tis was able to take his time bringing him bac from injury , without compromising the teams effectiveness to much, got him right and raring to go and...... bingo

I think Cambmike has hit the nail on the head, when he plays more centrally he much more like the player we loved from before. Unfortunately he's been played wide far too often since he came back and IMO he's far less effective out there and often finds himself isolated.

The only deflection it got was off of the keepers glove and on into the net. That really was a piledriver!

Dear old Pate.

Can always be relied upon to try and turn even a GREAT GOAL into an example of grotty Glovesmanship. (n)
