Before the end of the season I thought Tisdale would leave if we went up, I think that would have been the ideal scenario for him and Perryman.

I certainly don't think he wanted to lose the play off final, quite the opposite in fact (rightly so obviously).

"wants to be there a long time as well" perhaps he ought to have had a chat with Karl Robinson about that. He would never have made 12 years here if we adopted the Winkelman approach!

What’s going on with the Chairman’s hair? Is he the old drummer from Status Quo? Is that where he made his money?

He used to be a record company exec and still owns a recording studio.
Then he buggered up Wimbledon FC when he created M K Donts.

Between rock and a hard place.

If it were pretty much any other manager I'd think the deal had been done a month or longer ago, but interested to know what you lot think...
Agree, believe contact had been made a while ago, the bookie's odds reflected that. Matt Taylor had obviously been primed too, appointed the same day as Tis leaving. Not convinced it was a 'done deal' though, perhaps it did hinge on the Wembley result. A fresh start in a L1 campaign with a newly developed ground imminent would have had its appeal, and Taggy's offer would most likely have been generous too, despite Tis not rolling in it.

I detected sincerity when he talked of his fondness for our club, and the wrench it was to leave. Just hope when he returns we show our class and due appreciation for what he'd put into the ECFC job, over and beyond I'd say. Then I hope we stuff 'em !

    I remember the ones

(Alec) Stock, (Roy) Aitken and Winkleman.

To Football, as they were to music. (Although I recall that they still considered themselves "Kylie" Rated in both fields.)

The vibe I get from that chairman is that he wants to be loved by the MK masses, and that its an ego thing for him. Can’t see him putting up with supporter discontent for very long, so Tisdale had better get his home form right and not call mid-table Lge 2 finishes “rebuilding”
