    Re: Cricket 2018

As I think I said earlier in this thread, Burns is a class act and in many ways more deserving of a place in the Pakistan series than Stoneman was. His technique isn't easy on the eye but it is effective, and he doesn't give a toss for run rate.

From a selfish Surrey point of view, am pleased as we need him and he should develop into a fine captain, but it is odd he hasn't had so much as a Lions call up yet.

Can't quite believe Hants can summon up an attack of Steyn, Edwards and Abbott. Unsurpassed in CC cricket in recent memory.

    Thanks RP.

That stellar Hants attack was not very effective.

I meant to refer to Gareth Berg Bleddy predictive spelling.

Somerset ripping the Notts batting to shreds with 4 ducks so far.

No Chris Reed to save their sorry arses any longer after yet another top order batting failure.

Yes the Sweaties have posted a challenging total.

Poor death bed bowling by Liam Plunkett.

Sir Richard Hadlee having chemo following bowl cancer surgery. Prognosis seems reasonable.

Best wishes to him for a full recovery. A cricket legend.

Yeah, just seen that. Fingers crossed for him, one of the all-time greats.

Best wishes to Sir Richard. A class bowler, and no mug with the bat either.
